In an effort to reduce overhead costs and centralize communications, a North American bus company contracted VoiceInterop to consolidate over 150 dispatch centers in the US & Canada into one central operations command center.
Consistent corporate policies and procedures were difficult to enforce with decentralized dispatch locations. Also, the high cost of operating individual sites was a significant motivation for consolidating the locations. These challenges were met using the full suite of VoiceInterop AudioMate products. These products included AudioMate360 Series gateway devices, AudioMate Communicator software dispatch consoles, and AudioMate Unified Communication server software. The bus company's employees are now trained on one unified system with features that were not possible with the legacy system. Whether it's re-routing a fleet of buses to new destinations in real time or patching a bus drivers two-way radio call through to a local 911 center, AudioMate products allowed the bus company complete control over their communication network and proved to be an unbeatable value of powerful feature sets, performance, and reliability.

Unified Communication Overview
The concept and goal of unified communications is the capability to communicate, execute programs, or transfer data among various functional units in a manner that requires the user to have little or no knowledge of the unique characteristics of those units. For the most part, unified communications solutions are built for the enterprise and are hardware centric. The exception to the rule is the VoiceInterop's unified communications subscription-based service "X-Stream Access".
VoiceInterop's unified communications service is built upon three principles:
To achieve this VoiceInterop needed to be conscious of the sensitivities of existing communications schemes and the operational protocols they support. It also required VoiceInterop to provide a non-disruptive turnkey solution. From developing customized applications through installing and supporting them. In doing so, VoiceInterop realized unified communications possibilities to meet any budgetary requirement for both clients and resellers alike.
AudioMate Unified Communications™ Software
AudioMate Unified Communications™ Software takes unified communications to another level by allowing authorized personnel to securely communicate using any radio, telephone or PC device regardless of equipment manufacturer, system protocols or frequencies. Now telephones, two-way radio systems and PCs can communicate with each other over one secure IP Network. Our software is easy to deploy and completely scalable to grow with your organization.

AudioMate Configuration Console
All AudioMate360 series devices can be operated, configured and updated individually, but what happens when you have hundreds of AudioMate360 series devices? The AudioMate Configuration Console (an HTTP-based management console) enables centralized access to all AudioMate360 products connected to your network. Just plug one or more AudioMate360 devices in to your network and you can use the AudioMate Configuration Console to locate, configure, rename and update all the devices from one location.
