PTTWare by VoiceInterop allows your Telex HB-3 Plus dual headset interface to work smoothly with the Dispatch Communicator soft console from Twisted Pair solutions.

The HB-3 Plus is widely used by police, fire, and fleet radio dispatchers to connect headsets to conventional radio consoles using switch contacts to initiate transmission. However, when presented with modern IP-based soft consoles running on a PC the problem becomes how to inform the computer that the dispatcher has pressed the transmit foot switch or hand switch.

PTTWare solves this problem seamlessly. It is configurable to any keyboard sequence required by your soft console application. Just set it and forget it.

PTTWare has been tested and used with Dispatch Communicator, one component of the WAVE™ suite of interoperability software from Twisted Pair Solutions. It should interoperate with any soft console utilizing a keyboard sequence of characters to initiate radio transmission.
