Vitv1200 Display Suite Vitv1200 provides you with Total Vision of your crash net status. The Vitv1200 works in concert with VoiceInterop's Crash Phone Monitor software running on the crash net server. It maintains constant watch over all end points and updates the display accordingly. For example, under normal conditions all end points will show idle in the same color as each other (dark blue). At the start of a crash net call the end points will indicate ringing (light blue) and then answered (yellow). In the case of a fire station phone knocked off the hook by mistake, the Vitv1200 will display this status in yet a different color (green), allowing the control point to notify the offending end point. If a single endpoint experiences a communication failure the corresponding indicator will change to the appropriate color (red). If all end points can not be reached, then all indicators will change color to red. Customizable The colors of the indicator box background and the foreground text can be customized by the system administrator to match local requirements and maximize legibility. Total Vision No longer is it necessary to wait until the daily crash net test call to discover communication trouble. The Vitv1200 provides you with total vision of your crash net quickly and without any user intervention. The Vitv1200 display and the Crash Phone Monitor program give you Total Vision over your crash net system. Rugged and Ready The display panel itself is an industrially hardened device that is designed to operate in many environmental conditions. It meets NEMA-4 specifications for hose-down, icing, and salt spray when mounted properly and is CE certified. Of course, in the comfort of the FAA control tower or on the desk of the airport manager, the Vitv1200 display panel will provide years of reliable service. Crash Phone Monitor An essential component of the VoiceInterop Total Vision 1200 suite is our Crash Phone Monitor program. The CPM continuously monitors each end point in the crash net system and presents the status on the display. The CPM uses very low bandwidth SNMP communications to poll the status of each end point on the network. It runs on the VoiceInterop Crash Phone server, where it can be configured. It also allows for remote updating of display panel firmware and remote diagnostics should the need arise. This minimizes the impact on support staff.
